About the event

Science is like a language of its own, it is therefore extremely important that we scaffold and equip our students with the substantive but also the disciplinary knowledge and literacy to be able to access and apply their science knowledge. This session will focus on a variety of ways to incorporate and use methods to support and scaffold for students, but also to stretch and help them relate the knowledge they are learning to the real world. In addition to preparing students for those sometimes tricky six-markers. Session presented by Sophie Pearson - Head of Science, St Mary's Catholic School.
